Hotel Operations Supervisor

Responsible for assisting the General Manager with Guest Relations and Team Management to create a Hotel environment which exceeds Guest service expectations and creates an enjoyable, supportive work environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensuring a positive Guest experience through building relationships and responding to Guest needs.
• Assisting with the management and training of the Operations Team.
• Assisting with assigned financial transactions while following proper cash handling policies and procedures.
• Reviews Guest comments and scores and follow up as appropriate.
• Reviews Guest comments with Associates when appropriate to help train and develop the staff.
• Creates the linking mechanisms for effective communication across departments and between shifts to help ensure Operations are properly executed. Assists with troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues.
• Develops Associate schedules and ensures sufficient staff to complete the current day's workload.
• Reviews Brand Standards to help monitor Hotel compliance.
• May perform Manager on Duty role, including monitoring the Food& Beverage area.
• Coordinates training of new Front desk staff.
• Performs regular property walks to monitor cleanliness and avoid maintenance issues.
• Fostering and coordinating communications between Team Members and Departments.

Three years of Hotel experience required, Marriott Hotels preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
